This 25 minute video is very well done. It requires a vocabulary list and a world map as well as one of Japan to best understand the lesson here. The Battle of Tsushima os commonly known as ...the “Sea of Japan Naval Battle” and was naval history's only decisive sea battle fought by modern steel battleship fleets. This was also the first naval battle in which wireless telegraphy played a role. Tsushima Strait between Korea and southern Japan. In this battle the Japanese fleet destroyed two-thirds of the Russian fleet. Admiral Perry and the Americans are also mentioned with the Treaty of Friendship. Lessons include the importance of education and discipline.

The Gettysburg Address with some music and pictures. It needs photo identifications, but the address is well read. It would be best if students would have their own copy of the speech so they can better understand its many meanings.

This three minute video shows how Labo(u)r Day started in Canada and was copied in the United States of America. A worthwhile overview, but needs more history before students can understand the drama that this event represents.

It has a lot of facts, some good illustrations, but to use it best needs maps and a word wall or ot...her method to help with the difficult words. A good motivational video.
